MERRIMAC – Jeffrey A. Witham, 75, passed away on October 13, 2025 at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport.
Jeffrey was born in Salem, MA on February 8, 1950. He was a devoted son to the late Charles M. and Lida (Cronk) Witham and was educated in Lynn public schools. He had many skills and abilities, too many to list them all, including holistic healing and growing wheat grass, spending time riding motorcycles, and custom wood crafting. He enjoyed visiting old Saw Mills and liked to use antique hand tools and the most exotic woods to make custom cutting boards, cabinetry and furniture.
Jeffrey was a lover of nature and animals. He led Alaskan expeditions and was also an excellent photographer; but most of all Jeffrey cared about helping people. He was employed by Attorney Richard Ciavola at Lewis Warf, Boston using his detective skills and necessary photography for personal injury cases. He was an avid spiritual healer and worked as a prayer and energy transmitter; and a collector of healing instruments such as singing bowls, crystals and shamanic tools. He wanted to be remembered as a teacher and prophet of the Book of Enoch and Pistis Sophia.
Jeffrey will be dearly remembered by his close circle of spiritual friends including Keelan Lewis of Australia, Lacy Perry of Kansas City, MO, Niko Valhouli of Haverhill, Dan and Kathy Bochicchio, his lifelong childhood friends Dottie Hogan and the late Big Al Hogan, and his personal home health care assistant Maria who spent many hours caring for him.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, October 27th from 4PM until 6PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Please visit www.comeaufuneral.com or Comeau Funeral Home on Facebook.
