    Dear Mrs. Boutin and Family,
Please accept my condolences on John’s passing. I remember him in two ways. First, when the city had trouble with a fire engine, John helped us get past it. Beyond that, his expertise and generosity at what was then Ogden, helped me improve relations between the company and the city which then led to a long term, mutually beneficial contract. Secondly, we both had a laugh later on when we met in McD’s parking lot both having taken advantage of a 2 for 2 dollar double cheeseburger special.
