John A. “Sonny” Jaffarian Jr.

Plaistow, NH – John A. “Sonny” Jaffarian Jr., 81, husband of the late Helen E. (Chase) Jaffarian, who just passed away in December of 2020, passed away at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on April 16, 2021.

Born in Lawrence, he was the son of the late John A. Jaffarian, Sr. and Rose M. (Simili) Jaffarian. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he attended Sacred Hearts School and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School. Sonny was a machinist at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 25 years and was retired. He loved fishing, boating, target shooting and golfing. With his wife, he enjoyed playing bingo in Nashua. He was a quiet gentleman who was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Sonny will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Sonny is survived by his son John A. “Jack” Jaffarian III of Plaistow, NH; grandchildren, John A. Jaffarian IV and Magen M. and her husband Joshua Soucy; three great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Caiden and Zeke.

    I am deeply saddened for the loss of Sonny he was a great guy had a heart of gold miss talking to him it was pleasure to know him at bingo loved having conversations with him and Helen you will be sadly missed I’ll never forget your you R.I.P.
