Lynn – Joseph Charles Glover, 53, of Lynn, passed away at North Shore Medical Center in Lynn Ma, February 25, 2014, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late, Edwin R. and Ruth L. (Wickson) Glover. Joe was well known for his sense of humor and infectious laugh. Everyone who knew him, loved him. He was known to all the children in his neighborhood as Papa Joe. He was also an experienced roofer, working with many contractors in Essex County throughout his career. He leaves behind two children, Joseph Charles Glover Jr. of Lawrence, and Alisha Ruth Glover from Raymond, NH. He also leaves behind a sister, Patricia Love and her husband, Ronald, of Pepperell and two brothers, Harry and his wife, Peg, of Plaistow NH, and Edwin and his wife, Ann, of Lynn, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Glover.Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Monday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte. 125) Haverhill. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
