Raymond, NH – Joseph Savage, 61, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.Born August 25 1954 in Goffstown NH, he was the son of the late Joseph and Glenna (Estey) Savage. He was raised and educated in Derry N.H. He recently moved to Raymond, NH after living in California for many years. Joe had been a jockey for over 10 years and riding horses was his passion. He was leading rider for several years and won hundreds of races. He still has most of his winner circle photos and numerous trophies. He was an amazing, skilled carpenter and made several guitars by hand.He loved music and songwriting. Joe enjoyed playing his many guitars and harmonica’s. Even in his failing health he played for his niece Brittany who he idolized. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him.He is survived by his children, Mark Savage of CA and Rachel Savage of FL sisters Sandra Rozen and her fiancé` Rob of Raymond NH and Nancy Lynch of New Boston NH several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a celebration of his life on Saturday, August 6 at 12:00PM at the home of his sister, Sandra Rozen in Raymond, NH.
