Julio Baez

Haverhill – Julio L. Baez, 63, passed away on June 1 at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Haverhill surrounded by his loving family.Born in Puerto Rico January 14, 1953 he was the son of Crispiliana Baez and the late Julio Baez. At the age of 15 he moved to Haverhill with his family. He was employed in the shoe industry in Haverhill for many years. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar. Never having any children of his own he was devoted to his many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his loving mother, he is survived by his siblings, Aida Baez, Justina Arriaga, Maria Pagan, Carmen Baez, Lydia Maisonet all of Puerto Rico Otilia Matos of NJ Elizabeth Baez, Hipolita Baez, Aurea Baez, Jose Baez and Zoraida Baez all of Haverhill and 37 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Julio Baez and his brother Israel Baez. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, June 5 from 2:00PM until 5:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Monday at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Primrose Street, Haverhill.
