Kenneth W. Smith, 60, of Sandown, NH, passed away at his home on Saturday January 10th, 2026.
Born in Haverhill in September 6, 1965 to the late Arthur Smith and Glenda Turner Pearson, Ken was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1983 after which he dedicated many years to honorable service in the United States Army. He served in Operation Desert Storm, and later served as an Army recruiter in Pennsylvania and Texas before retiring. He was a respected Army recruiter and mentor to many young men and women, guiding them towards futures shaped by purpose, integrity, patriotism, and discipline. Ken was a true and loyal patriot. He also enjoyed spending time riding motorcycles, relaxing in the pool, family gatherings and was a Bruins, Celtics, Red Sox and NASCAR fan. His quick wit and funny sense of humor will be greatly missed by many.
Ken was a devoted husband, father, and son. He is survived by his wife Stephanie; a brother Timothy Smith; sisters Brenda Damon, Susan Boudha, and Terry Pearson; two sons Lucas and Malik; three step daughters Annmarie, Ashley, and Alissa; a step son Stephen; along with many nieces and nephews.
