Georgetown – Leo J. Leonard, 58, husband of Linda (Barnard) Leonard, passed away October 4, 2017 at Carney Hospital in Boston with his loving family by his side.Born in Beverly, he was the son of Warren and Virginia (Caron) Leonard. Raised and educated in Beverly, he was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1977. Leo was employed for the past 12 years for the City of Haverhill as a bus monitor. He also worked at the Burger King at Gloucester Crossing in Beverly. Leo was an avid sports fan, following the Bruins, Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He will be remembered as a loving and caring soul with a positive attitude. His favorite song is “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. Leo loved to travel and ventured to Las Vegas, driving the entire way. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him. In addition to his loving wife Linda, he is survived by his children, Richard W. King, Jr. of Haverhill Caroline R. Noiles and her husband Raymond Noiles, Jr. of Haverhill his brother John M. Leonard of Beverly two grandchildren, Jessica M. King Richard W. King, III two great grandchildren, Abigail and Dominic and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, October 12 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
