Haverhill – Lucy (Mascarito) Perrocchi, 93, of the Mt. Washington section of Haverhill passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 5. Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late James and Philomena (Schena) Mascarito. She attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1940. She was employed in the local shoe industry but was primarily a homemaker. Family was what she was all about she was very close with her five sisters and their children and grandchildren. A devoted wife and aunt, she was the Widow of John A. Perocchi. She leaves her nieces and nephew Mary Hannah, Karen Rand and her husband, Michael, and James Palardy, all of Bradford. A special thank you to her caregivers Stephanie Rand and Diane Fitzgerald for years of love and care. She was predeceased by a niece, Kathleen Cherry and nephew, David Palardy, and her sisters, Mary Nash, Antoinette Mascarito, Louise Mascarito, Helen Ciccarelli, and Dorothy Palardy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 11, at 10:30 AM in the Sacred Hearts Church Chapel, South Main St. Bradford. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
