Haverhill – Marie Annette (Dionne) Hickey, 77, of Haverhill, passed away March 29, 2015 at the Merrimack Valley after being stricken ill at her home.Born in Epping, NH, she was the daughter of Pierre and Lucienne (Jean) Dionne. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she attended St. Joseph’s Grammar School.Primarily a homemaker, Annette was forever putting family and friends before herself she was always available for someone in need of transport to the doctor or any type of errand. She was well known at the Plaistow Fish and Game Club as it was her second home. She volunteered many years there helping set up for BINGO and other functions. She was a regular at the 45’s tournament at the Old Oak in Merrimac, and enjoyed many day trips to the casinos.A devoted wife mother and grandmother, she leaves her beloved husband of fifty-nine years, Francis D. “Frank” Hickey, a son, F. Daniel Hickey, Jr, of Haverhill, two loving daughters, Kathleen A. Hickey-Roy, all of Haverhill, and Jean M. Benjamin and her husband Jason E., of Merrimac, eight grandchildren, Justin, Jake, Jessica, and Jarred Benjamin, and Jamie Ago and her husband, Austin, Jocelyn Roy, Katelin St.Onge, and Mark St. Onge, three great grandchildren, Hunter Ago, Ethan Reynolds, and Elliott Reynolds two brothers, Gerard Dionne, of Hollywood, FL, and Phillip Dionne, of Kansas City, two sisters, Lucia Upham, of Nashua, and Lucille Arsenault, of Exeter, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Paul Dionne and Cecile Leveille. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Tuesday, from 4 until 7:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Wednessday morning at 10:00 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 AM in St. James Church, Winter St. Haverhill.
