Haverhill – Michael J. Stevens, 74, passed away February 26, 2021 at Carney Hospital in Dorchester.

Born in Methuen, he was the son of the late Barbara (McNeal) Flaherty. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School and lived in Haverhill for most of his life. In 1964 he served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. Michael worked in the Merrimack Valley area in construction and as a machinist. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards with his friends. He was a resident at the “Mansion”, a part of the Veterans Outreach in Haverhill, where he had many friends.

Michael is survived by his children, Michael Stevens of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Colleen Beaudouin of AZ and Sabrina Stevens of FL; grandchildren, Patrick Stevens, Marcus Beaudouin and Darius Beaudouin; sisters, Michelle Stevens of Newburyport, Kathleen Maurice of Lincolnville, NH and Dale Miller of Wackersville, MD; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Maureen Silver.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday, March 18 at 3:00PM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
