HAVERHILL – Muriel A. “Honey” (Giusti) Lacroix, 85 of Haverhill passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 5, 2025 at Penacook Place Nursing Home in Haverhill.
Honey was born in East Boston on October 22, 1940 to Dante and Muriel (Driscoll) Giusti. She left East Boston at 16 years old, was raised in Georgetown, and was a graduate of Pearly High School, Class of 1958.
Honey worked in assembly, inspection, testing and packing at Lucent for over 23 years. She was a friend of Bill W’s for many years and was a certified Alcohol and Drug abuse Counselor, having completed the program at Northern Essex Community College in 1988.
Honey enjoyed traveling to the ocean and the mountains, riding on Harleys with her companion, Jerry Hall. She also enjoyed her trips to Hawaii and Bermuda. She loved her cat, Black Crow, who died in a tragic fire at her home in 1992.
Honey is survived by her son, David Ronald Lacroix and his wife Cecilia of Salem, NH, her brothers James Giusti and his wife Carolyn of Merrimac, Robert Giusti and his wife Joan of Port St. Lucie, FL, Kenneth Giusti of Hampstead, NH, her sister Eileen Carpenter of Rochester, NH as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Dennis Giusti and sister Jean Shields, her ex-husband Philip Ronald Lacroix and also her companion of 6 years, Jerry Hall.
Honey’s family would like to thank the staff at Penacook Place for their exceptional care and compassion.
