Haverhill – Nancy Ruiz, 43, passed away suddenly March 11, 2021 at her home in Haverhill.
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Inez Ruiz of Haverhill and the late Carlos Ruiz. She came to the United States at the age of six and with her family settled in Haverhill, where she spent most of her life. Nancy enjoyed working out and going to the gym. She loved spending time with family and friends and adored her granddaughter. Nancy had a very strong faith and was known for her great sense of humor, always cracking jokes and was fun to be around. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy is survived by her children, Victor Ruiz and his partner Jessica Lewis of Manchester, NH; Alisha Cosme of Derry, NH; her granddaughter Aria Grayce Ruiz; her brothers and sisters, Carlos Ruiz of Dracut; Inez Ruiz of Haverhill; Diana Ruiz of Lawrence; Elizabeth Ruiz of Freetown; Jose Ruiz of Lawrence; Virgen Torres of Haverhill and Antolin Ruiz of Peabody; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Aracelis Ruiz.

Tommy, so sorry about your loss. I just was notified today. Jay was one of the best guys I have ever spent time with. Many nights were spent with Jay in your TV room, watching the Tonight Show and eating hamburgers soaked in Worcesteshire sauce. Many wonderful hours spent with Jay. What a great guy..always there for you. The picture in the obituary is exactly how I will always remember him. A great loss.
