Alma F.” Dolly” Nassif, 73, of Haverhill died, Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Alma was born in Haverhill on November 3, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Gertrude E. (Leighton) Nassif.
Alma was raised in Haverhill and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1966. After graduation she worked as a dental hygienist for Dr. Morris on Main St., Haverhill and later worked for AT&T-Lucent where she retired after 30 years. She loved to vacation every year at Hampton Beach. She loved arts and crafts, sewing, embroidering pillow cases for her grandchildren and making albums of newborn babies for her friends and family. She was a great cook whose favorite dinner was “Chicken Delight.” Her favorite song was “Cashmere” by Led Zeppelin. She was a big New England sports fan. She was a simple peaceful woman who was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren.
Alma was the former wife of Charles G. Grandmaison. She was the devoted mother of Charles G. Grandmaison II of Haverhill, Brian Edward Grandmaison of Haverhill. She was the mother-in-law of Julie (Bodenrader) Grandmaison of Haverhill. She was sister of Judith (Nassif) Jutras and her husband Jerry of Lowell. She was the cherished grandmother of Jacob, Jalyn, Cailey, Alayna, Brianna Grandmaison.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 2, from 4-7pm at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
