HAVERHILL – Antonio Robles, 89, of Haverhill, died peacefully on Sunday, July 9, in Haverhill.
Antonio was born in Comerio, PR on July 9, 1934 to Adrian and Cecelia (Agosto) Robles. Antonio was raised and educated in Puerto Rico where he owned his own businesses before coming to Haverhill in 1969. He worked at Hoyt and Worthen and also JP Leather companies and then as a baker at Fantini Bakery Company. Antonio enjoyed many activities and hobbies including Bingo, Dominoes, music and dancing, going to the Suffolk Downs for the races and cooking for his family. He also enjoyed exercising and could always be found on his early morning walks around town. Antonio was always there for anyone who needed help and was a dedicated community service volunteer at GAR Park. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, great, great grandfather and great, great, great grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Antonio is survived by his children Cruz M. Bravo and Jose, Haverhill, Carmen L Robles, Eustis FL, Maria Robles and Jose Perez, Haverhill, Carmen M. Robles and Samuel Perez, Bradford, Carmen E. Robles and Raul Guerrero, Eustis, FL, Aida Guzman and Leonardo, Methuen, Manuel Robles and Malisha, Jacksonville, FL, Elizabeth Robles and Jose A. Robles, Haverhill; and his brothers and sisters Marta Merced, Haverhill, Cecilio Robles, Puerto Rico, Carlos Robles, Puerto Rico, Victor (Vitin) Robles, CT, and Efrain Robles, Puerto Rico. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Antonio is predeceased by Cruz Robles, Bernado Robles, Elisa Robles, Lydia Robles, Natividad Robles, Gaspar Robles, Jose Robles, his son on Jose A. Robles and son-in-law Ervin Bravo
