Haverhill – Carmen (Ramirez) Rivera, 75, wife of Jose Rivera, Sr., passed away January 22, 2021 at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill.
Born in San Sabastian, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Luis Ramirez and Maria Dolores Figueroa. Raised and educated in Puerto Rico, she was a resident of Haverhill for 36 years. Carmen enjoyed camping up in the White Mountains of New England and traveling with her husband and children. She loved being outdoors, nature and flowers. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her loving husband Jose, she is survived by her children, Yolanda Rivera, Jose Rivera Jr. and his wife Wendy and Luis Rivera, all of Haverhill and Dolores Grullon and her husband Eduardo of FL; six beloved grandchildren, Xavier, Sierra, Stephanie, Autumn, Ethan and Emilia; siblings, Zenaida Ramirez, Migdalia Ramirez, Aurora Ramirez and Angel Ramirez; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Luz Nerida Ramirez and brother Julio Ramirez.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 27 from 10:30AM until 12:30 at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
