Haverhill – Carol Ann (Landry) Sales, 78 wife of the late George E. Sales, passed away March 24, 2021 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Born in Newport, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Alfred A. and Doris O. (Carr) Landry. Carol was raised in Haverhill, attended school there and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1960. She was employed at the RCA Company in Electronics until her retirement. After retiring she worked as a bookkeeper in the Haverhill community. A resident for the past three years, she moved to Haverhill from Florida where she lived for over 37 years. She also lived in Canada when young and traveled throughout the United States. Carol was a big fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed swimming at Lake Winnipesauke in New Hampshire with her family. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Susan T. Williams and her husband Eric of Manassas Park City, VA; Rose Marea Rogers of Haverhill; Heather Woodmansee of Hollywood, FL; sister, Paullette Jones of Port Charlotte, FL; grandchildren Jason Sweeney, Johnathan M. Green, Dominick Rogers, Rayschell Walker, Uilleam Beaton, Christian Woodmansee, Tressa Kaylie Elyse and Megan Barnes; fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary E. Roeder, granddaughters Nicole Dominique Wareham and Destiny Rayshcelle Sweeney and her sister Susan Landry, who passed away in January; and infant brother.
