Haverhill – Charles Osborne “Chucky” Burrill Jr., 59, passed away Friday morning January 25, from injuries sustained in a car accident. Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Charles O. Burrill Sr. and Ruth A. (Whitman) Burrill. He attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1977. Chucky was employed as a custodian at the former Glynn Memorial Nursing Home until its closing. For the past eighteen years he was employed at Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport under the same capacity. He was loved by all who knew him and all who worked with him. Chucky was known for walking around town; even when offered rides he preferred walking. If not walking, he spent time relaxing at home with his sister, Gail and brother in law, Joseph Mack. He was talented at drawing, he had a great sense of humor, he loved eating take out and his favorite cartoon was Sponge Bob Square Pants. He is survived by his sisters; Gail F. Mack and her husband Joseph, Elaine S. Leavey and Janice D. Perkins, all of Haverhill, nephews; Joseph E. Mack Jr., Jason S. Mack, Jeffrey Woodman Jr. a niece; Dawn Sadowski, and several great nieces and nephews.
