Cheryl A. (Desmarais) Woodsum, 75 July 20, 1944 - February 7, 2020

Haverhill -Cheryl A. (Desmarais) Woodsum, 75, passed away February 7, 2020 at Ivy Hill Court in Haverhill with her loving family by her side.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Catherine (Miller) Desmarais. Raised and educated in the Haverhill School System, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1962. For over 25 years, she was employed as an assembler for the Ratheon Corporation. An avid reader and a love of music, she will be remembered for being fun, witty and having a great sense of humor. Cheryl enjoyed travelling to the White Mountains and camping with her family. After her retirement, she moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 2005 before returning to Haverhill. A devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cheryl is survived by her children; Stephen M. Woodsum and his partner, Barbara Gariepy of Haverhill, Brian J. Woodsum and his wife Carolyn of Haverhill, Christine A. Blundell and her husband Robert E. of Haverhill, a brother; William E. Desmarais of Haverhill, two sisters; Kathleen Pepin of Fremont, NH and Carol Stone and her husband Wayne of NH; cherished grandchildren, John Regan and his wife Katrina, Brittany Fisher and her husband Matthew; and Joshua Bergeron her great grandchildren, Jameson and Callen Regan, Lillian and Madyson Fisher and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a nephew, Scott Stone and her sister, Sandra Sovie.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, February 11 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Wednesday morning at 10:30AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, John Ward Avenue, Haverhill.
