As one Haverhill Gazette Reporter stated “She’s the person who keeps the cities together”.
Upon her retirement in 1993 Connie enjoyed traveling both domestically and abroad and spent time with her many friends and family. She especially enjoyed her summers on Seabrook Beach.
Connie was predeceased by her husband John H. Hosford who died in 1982 after 32 years of marriage, her parents; Eston L. and Alice E. (Rooney) Spaulding and her three sisters; Betty Jackson, Jean Clement, and Jackie Bologna. January 5, 2022 at 3:38 pmLaughter, love, style and of course organization! Connie was a woman who set the bar high for all she accomplished and inspired all of us who worked with her to try and reach her standards. When she befriended you it was for a lifetime of laughter and love. We will miss you at our monthly lunches at Sylvan Street, but know you will also attend in spirit. So I raise my glass to one classy lady, who always found the proverbial glass half full! May you rest in peace my friend! My condolences to her Family, of whom were her heart and soul.

January 7, 2022 at 12:23 amJean,
I am so sorry for your loss and that loss for your whole family. The loss of a great woman…who happens to be your mother or grandmother is especially poignant. Great women were born in 1927 and I remember fondly our casual conversations about both of our mothers who were born in that year. Know that your mother stays with you in so many ways…your dreams, life choices, and trying to live up to the lessons they taught us. Much love from one daughter to another… we were so fortunate. Love, Marilyn
