PEABODY- Coretta “Corey” Maradian, 74, of Peabody passed away on Tuesday, August 20 at the Beverly Hospital in Beverly, MA.
Coretta was born in Haverhill, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Tookmanian) Maradian. She attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School Class of 1968. She then attended Salem State College earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She enjoyed participating in her children’s activities such as Boy Scouts, softball and basketball. She also listened to all kinds of music.
Corey is survived by her sons Michael Taggert of Haverhilll, Jason Taggert of Somerville and Gary Ryan Taggert of Wakefield. She also leaves behind her brothers Gary Maradian of Yarmouth Port and Steve Maradian of Washington, DC and her sister Shelley Horan of Methuen; and grandchildren Liam, Collan, Sophie, Caleb and Declan. ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, August 28 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
