Holden – Cynthia D. Roumeliotis, 72, formerly of Haverhill, passed away February 14, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Worcester.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Anastasia (Petras) Roumeliotis. Raised and educated in Lynn, she attended Lynn Classical High School. She was employed for many years as a caregiver of special needs children and worked as a nanny for children throughout the Merrimack Valley area and Southern New Hampshire. Cynthia moved from Lynn to Haverhill in 1995 and has resided there for twenty five years. She loved traveling to Foxwoods, taking scenic drives, playing cards and scrabble. Cynthia hosted the holidays and looked forward to cooking and spending time with her family. A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she loved her family fiercely and was loved back by all who knew her.
Cynthia is survived by her daughter, Andrea Holmes and her husband Alex of Haverhill; her sister, Sandra Manson of East Lynn; five beloved grandchildren, Alexandria, Tiandra and her husband David, Justice, Alonzo and Carmelo; one adored great granddaughter, Evangeline; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Harry and Michael Roumeliotis, Catherine Tucker and Christina Roumeliotis.
