D. Michael Cronin, 55 July 30, 1965 - February 21, 2021

PLAISTOW, NH – D. Michael Cronin, 55, of Spokane, Washington, formerly of Plaistow, passed away on February 21st, 2021 at the Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, Washington after a brief illness. Born in Melrose, he was the son of Dennis J. Cronin and Kathleen E. (Doyle) Tolman.

Raised in Plaistow, he attended the Pollard School and was a graduate of Timberlane Regional High School, class of 1984.  He studied at Northern Essex Community College, and received certification to become a Quality Control Inspector at the former Western Electric and Lucent Technologies in North Andover.  Michael relocated to Spokane 12 years ago.

Michael enjoyed listening to country music and was a lover of all animals.  As a young man, he was a member of the Boy Scouts; where he learned camping skills and appreciated the beauty of nature.  He also enjoyed traveling; especially his trip to Italy.   Above all, Michael loved his family and will truly be missed.

He leaves his father: Dennis J. Cronin and his partner Judith Hikel of Merrimac; his mother: Kathleen Tolman of Newton, NH; two brothers: James Cronin of Haverhill, and Keith Cronin and his partner Dawn Marie Byron-Thompson of Conyers, GA; a sister: Christine Cronin and her partner Peter Mears of Newton, NH; a niece: Jordyn Cronin and several aunts, uncles and cousins, all who will miss him dearly.

Funeral Services for Michael are going to be held privately.

    I am sad for this news. Michael was my student at TRMS. We reconnected through FaceBook a number of years ago shortly after Michael moved to Washington. May you sense God’s peace as you grieve Michael’s death and God’s presence as you remember and celebrate Michael’s Life.
