Daniel J. Neubert, 78 June 28, 1945 - April 19, 2024

LAWRENCE – Daniel J. Neubert, 78, of Lawrence passed away on Friday, April 19 at the Boston Medical Center.

Daniel was born in Lawrence the son of John R. and Ruth B. (Dowling) Neubert.  He attended Methuen schools and went on to work at various paper mills in the Merrimack Valley area. Daniel was an avid reader, and he also liked spending time riding horses and visiting with his friends, especially Mike and Beth. He enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and socializing with the neighbors and their dogs; he loved animals and always had treats in his pockets.

Daniel is survived by his son Daniel J. Neubert, Jr. and his wife Mary Anne of Manchester, his daughter Cathy Jackson and her husband Albert of Georgia; siblings John Neubert of Lawrence, Elaine MacDonald and her husband Paul of FL, Maureen Dubois of Raymond, NH, David Neubert of Methuen, Carol Emery and her husband Robert of Methuen. He also leaves behind his grandchildren David, Sarah, Matthew, Brianna, Brady and Alex, a great granddaughter Lorelei, as well as several nieces and nephews. Daniel was predeceased by his brother William Neubert and sisters Joanne Neubert and Beverly Cole.
