Haverhill – David A. Freeman, 57, husband of Cynthia J. (LaValley) Freeman, passed away April 18, 2019 after a short illness at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston with his loving family by his side.
Born in Glasgow, Montana, he was the son of Harris (Hank) Freeman of Castle Valley, Utah and Bertha (Pinette) Freeman. He was a graduate of Whittier Tech, Class of 1979. David was the shop manager at Town Auto Body in North Andover for over 30 years. He had a passion for working on all kinds of cars. David enjoyed watching Westerns and his favorite show was “Deadwood”. He also enjoyed shopping, collecting and traveling. He loved spending time visiting his father and stepmother while on vacation in Utah. David was known for his great sense of humor and his devotion to his family and friends, always willing to help anyone out in a time of need. David had a lot of love for his cat little Buddy. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
David is survived by his wife of 20 years, Cynthia J. (LaValley) Freeman of Haverhill; his father, Harris (Hank) Freeman and his wife Ann of Castle Valley, UT; his children, Michael W. Souther and Fawn M. Whitehouse of Haverhill; Thomas “TJ” Souther and Samantha M. Cote of Pelham, NH; Travis C. Souther and Stacy M. Munroe of Haverhill; Stephanie L. Jutras and her partner Lateef Evans of Haverhill; nine grandchildren, Hunter, Jayden, Anthony, Jenessa, Michael III, Autumn, Bella, Jazmine and Teagan; close friend, George Myers and his family for 30 years; and several nieces and nephews including Joshua LaValley, who he took in like one of his own children. He was predeceased by his brother Steven Freeman.
