Andover – Earl W. Parker, 72, formerly of Haverhill, passed away March 14, 2022 at Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Albert H. and Julia M. (Simpson) Parker. He attended the Smiley School and the John Greenleaf Whittier School in Haverhill. Known as a free spirit, Earl was a fixture in Haverhill. He was a purveyor and collector of hidden treasures. He was an avid outdoorsman and preferred to be one with nature than being indoors. Earl considered the local woods of Haverhill to be his true home. Earl had strong opinions on many subjects and was not afraid of voicing them. He will be missed for his feisty attitude by all who knew and loved him.

Earl is survived by his dearest niece and her husband, Holly and Richie Littlefield of Haverhill; siblings, Albert H. Parker Jr. and his wife Mary, Julia M. Clark and her husband Keith, Lucy M. Parker, Arthur A. Parker, Robert G. Parker, Brenda J. Parker and Barry S. Parker; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Lucinda R. Parker.

    I met Earl when he lived at Gilead House many years ago. Over the years I have thought about him often with fond memories. He lived life his way and was never shy about sharing his opinions! I am so very sorry for you loss!
