HAVERHILL – Eric J. Bostwick, 44, of Haverhill passed away on Thursday, October 24 at his home.
Born in Lawrence, Eric was the son of Ernie and Cecelia (Kinder) Bostwick. He was a graduate of Whittier Vocational Technical Institute, Class of 1998 and went on to study graphic design at Northern Essex Community College and UMASS. Eric worked as a machinist for Micro-Mech in Ipswich and enjoyed spending his free time being with his family. He was a car collector, a fan of NASCAR, the Patriots and the Bruins, and enjoyed watching wrestling, especially Smack Down and Raw. Eric was a member of the Elks for many years and was a former Exalted Ruler at Lodge 165 in Haverhill. He will be remembered as a gentle giant with a great sense of humor and a huge heart, and someone who always lent a helping hand.
Eric was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. He is survived by his wife Amy (Viens) Bostwick of Haverhill, his son Nathan E. Rodriguez-Bella De Los Santos of Haverhill, his daughters Maria S. Rodriguez and her partner Jay Ramirez of Haverhill and Christa J. Rodrigues and her partner Luis Ramos of Haverhill. He also leaves behind his brother Matthew Bostwick of Haverhill.

Sorry to hear so late of Eric’s passing. We just spotted it in the Eagle-tribune’s monthly obituary booklet. Although we remember him as a boy (hard to believe it’s been so long since we’ve actually seen you), it sounds like he grew to be good man.
You have our condolences and more – we can’t imagine losing a child. We’re just not supposed to outlive our kids. Hope you’re holding up Ok. Know that we are praying for you and Matt.
