July 16, 2024 at 6:37 pmLonging is what remains of what is gone, of what is no longer there. Longing is absence, it is the feeling of emptiness that remains of what is gone. But sometimes, longing is such a huge void that it takes up a lot of space inside the heart, and it squeezes the chest so much that it ends up overflowing and running down the eyes. If we miss something or someone it is because the object of longing brought us happiness, it was something or someone we loved. That’s why the longing hurts. Nostalgia is the insistence of memory on keeping alive, present and close to us what we no longer have. Longing makes the period become a comma in life. There are longings that can kill us, there are others that are capable of making us die. But longing is always a memory of love that never dies.
I met Erick at a shared game, and I wrote texts and he always said how good a good word is for us. It’s good for the soul. Today, using words, I want to wish my sincere condolences to the entire family and say that among our friends, we will greatly miss his joy and kindness.
May God enlighten you from heaven.

July 17, 2024 at 7:57 pmI have been Eric’s work manager for many years and to say I have been gutted by this is an understatement. Because of his professionalism in his approach to his work, I was able to be both a boss and a friend and I will badly miss his gravelly voice and our weekly conversations about work, family and life in general. Last week we had a laughter-filled discussion about childhood candy preferences. My prayers go out to his family and especially Danielle and the girls.

July 19, 2024 at 11:51 amI am heartbroken to learn that my long-time work friend has passed. I often called upon Eric for help with complex customer issues, and once he engaged you were confident a solution would be forthcoming. He was an expert. Most of all, I remember Eric’s witty sense of humor, and how proudly he spoke of his wife and two girls. God bless.

July 19, 2024 at 4:24 pmIn the universe of gaming, we forge connections that transcend the physical world, creating bonds as real and impactful as any we find. It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to a cherished friend. His absence leaves a silence where once there was laughter, strategy, and the shared joy of victory. May the memories of the battles fought, and the levels conquered bring comfort in this time of loss. As we continue to navigate this life, let us carry his spirit with us, honoring his legacy in every quest we undertake. Rest in peace, my dear friend; your memory will forever be a part of our shared story.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. My thoughts are with your family during this incredibly difficult time.
