Gerald A. “Gerry” Lord, 52 December 13, 1968 - February 26, 2021

HAVERHILL – Gerald “Gerry” Anthony Lord, 52, loving husband of Jennifer (Senecal) Lord, passed away unexpectedly, at his residence on Friday, February 26, 2021.   Born in New Bedford, he is the son of John A. and Mary (Bieu) Lord.

Gerry met the love of his life Jennifer in Newton, Mass and married in 1992.  He cherished his wife of 29 years.  In those 29 years, they two of them were inseparable.  Gerry and Jennifer shared the same interests as avid Red Sox fans, they attended many games.  They also loved the Celtics and the Patriots.  They enjoyed camping with family, especially their trips to Camp Grandview in Northern New Hampshire.  Gerry loved people and enjoyed his job at Blockbuster Video when he lived in Newton and later he was employed at the checkout at Market Basket in West Gate Plaza in Haverhill.

In addition to his wife Jennifer Lord of Haverhill and mother Mary Curtis of New Bedord, he is survived by his five sisters Donna M. Vanderheiden, Brenda L. Langlois of New Bedford, Loretta Lord of Monticello, IN, Michelle R. Gonzalez of Lake Placid, FL and Pamela J. Bouchard of Forestdale, MA; brothers, John A. Lord and his wife Heather, Lawrence A. Lord of West Fork, AR, D. Michael Lord of Dorchester, Matthew A.F. Ouellet and Normand Ouellet of New Bedford; eleven nieces, nephews, 17 great nieces and great nephews. He also leaves his loving friend and care giver Stephine DeOliveira. Gerry was preceded in death by his brother Zachary Sylvia.
