Glorimel E. Maldonado – Comeau Funeral Home

Haverhill – Glorimel E. Maldonado, 44, passed away October 11, 2020 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Haverhill, she is the daughter of Sylvia Umpierre of Haverhill and Jose Maldonado. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1994. Glorimel was employed in administration billing for Lahey Healthcare. She was very social with a wide circle of friends. A loving, caring single mother, family was her whole world. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Glorimel is survived by her children Xavier Thorpe, Xander Percel and Xylmalry Percel, all of Haverhill; her mother, Sylvia Umpierre of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Carmen Torres.

My heart broke when I heard the news of Glorimels’ passing. I was lucky to have worked along side of her in Haverhill ~she was incredibly patient, sensitive, smart, funny, loving and courageous woman who loved her children, friends and community. Her children and family are in my thoughts. Rest in peace.

I am so sad to hear about Glorimel’s passing. I have such fond memories of working with her in Haverhill. She was such a strong , caring , beautiful , dedicated mother, friend, and colleague. She spoke lovingly of her children and family. I am speechless. May her beautiful soul rest in peace! May her children and family know how much she loved them.

Rest In Peace my gorgeous friend. I remember the first day I met you, almost 20 years ago and what you first said to me. We instantly became friends. That friendship that only comes once in a lifetime, where you feel confortable, and no matter what, you made me feel that everything was going to be ok.
