James E. Kelley August 10, 1951 - July 20, 2020

Merrimac – James E. Kelley, 68, passed away July 20, 2020 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill after a courageous battle with lung cancer, his loving family by his side.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late James E. Kelley, Sr. and Doris J. (Royer) Kelley. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Class of 1969. James was a carpentry contractor by trade for many years. He enjoyed motorcycles, traveling to Sturgis and Laconia for bike weeks. James was proud of the work he had done on the Alabama Theatre House and loved to take pictures with his drone. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

James is survived by his daughter, Laurie Banks, his sister, Patricia MacLean and her husband William of Avon Park, FL and his nephew, Daniel MacLean of Seabrook, NH. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Gary M. Kelley.
