Newton, NH – Joseph E. Bradley, 81, husband of the late Bernadine “Bunny” (Phair) Bradley, passed away August 28, 2019 at Exeter Hospital with his loving family by his side.
Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Catherine (Doherty) Bradley. Raised in Lawrence, he attended St. Augustine Grammar School, St. Patrick’s and was a graduate of Central Catholic School, Class of 1956. Joseph was very active and faithful in his church community. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Gaythorne Hall in Methuen. He was also proud of his Irish heritage. Joseph enjoyed spending time at his Senior Classes at Adult Daycare in Hampstead, NH. He loved the beach and followed all the New England sports teams. A devoted husband to his late wife and loving father and grandfather, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Joseph is survived by his loving son, Francis A. Bradley and his wife Becky Ann of Newton, NH; three grandchildren, Delaney A. Bradley, Ryan P. Bradley and Samantha R. Bradley; his siblings, William J. Bradley and his wife Deanna of Hooksett, NH and Mary Silva and her husband Richard of Manchester, NH; sister in law, Mary-Ann (Phair) Apperti; brother in law Michael Phair and his wife Toni; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his loving wife Bernadine, he was predeceased by his son, Joseph E. Bradley, Jr. and his siblings, Catherine “Kay” Feole and Arthur M. Bradley.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service to be celebrated on Sunday, September 15 at 2:00PM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Calling hours will follow the service from 2:00PM until 4:00PM.
