HAVERHILL – Joseph F. Adams, Jr., 69, has passed away peacefully at his home on April 19 due to complications from diabetes.
Joe was born in New Jersey and moved to Andover in his early years. He enjoyed the outdoors life in Utah and the family lake cottage in New Hampshire. He spent many hours with his friends and family, enjoying life while skiing, kayaking, hiking, and water sports. Easy to make friends, he still had many friends from his early days at St Augustine’s grammar school, and Andover High School. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, had a long career in Sales and managed a successful painting business. He had a great love for animals and enjoyed sharing his life with his dogs and cats.
Joe is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Louise and his brother Richard. He leaves behind his brothers Robert, James, Raymond their spouses and Richard’s widow Ann. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. Joe will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
