HAVERHILL – Joseph L. Grandmont, 51, of Haverhill passed away on Thursday, October 3 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Haverhill on February 22, 1973, Joseph was a graduate of Haverhill High School and worked as a contractor and builder for many years. Joseph loved his job, had a great sense of humor, and was known for his love of sweets and his coffee. He enjoyed taking his kids to the beach and going to Disney World and music concerts. Joseph was a country music fan and he enjoyed dancing, motorcycle riding and Halloween and Christmas holidays with his family. Joseph was always available to help anyone. He was a devoted partner, father, brother and uncle.
Joseph is survived by his fiancé Kara Ferris-Cutrona of Salem, NH, their daughter, Alyvia R. Ferris of Salem, NH his son Hunter Stewart of Plaistow, NH, and his daughter Alexis Stewart and her fiancé Ryan Young of Derry, NH. He also leaves behind his brothers Clifford Grandmont of Salem, NH and his twin James M. Grandmont and his wife Terri of Plaistow, NH, and his sisters Deborah J. Shackley and her husband Owen of Haverhill and Patricia McComiskey of Haverhill, loving nieces and nephews, Paul Straw and his wife Sherry, Aaron Lucia and his wife Brianna, Mark Lucia, Patricia Hill and Skylar Winter. Joseph was predeceased by his brother Sheldon Michael Grandmont.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, October 7 from 3PM until 7PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 8 at 10AM at St. James Church at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, 185 Winter Street, Haverhill.
