In their retirement years, Joe and Sarah loved to take long car rides exploring New England and spent their winter months in Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands. Joe was happiest surrounded by family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sarah L. (Law) Roy of Haverhill; his five sons, Joseph R. Roy, Jr. and his fiancé Shelby, James P. Roy and his girlfriend Pamela, John C. Roy and his wife Bernadette, Jeffrey K. Roy and his wife Christine, and Jason C. Roy and his wife Tracie. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Gerard Roy and sisters Louise Morrill and Rita Herrick.

I remember the days way back when between Joe and my dad, they would basically fill up the Roma restaurant during the NH plumbing seminars with all the boys.

We didn’t have the pleasure of knowing your dad, but i am sure he was a special person because he
raised an amazing son, may you look back at the memories and find peace in knowing that he is finally at rest now.
