Judith M. Leathe, 95 March 30, 1929 - April 10, 2024

HAVERHILL – Judith M. Leathe, 95, a lifelong resident of Haverhill passed away peacefully at the High Pointe Hospice House on April 10, 2024.

Judy was born in Haverhill. She was the daughter of the late, Raymond H. and Carlene (Ham) Morrison. She attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1947. She then attended Staley College in Brookline receiving her Bachelors Degree. A woman of strong faith, she was a lifelong member of the Riverside Church.

The widow of the late Walter G. Leathe who died in 1982, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. After her husband’s passing she met a companion of several years, David Chase until his passing in 2001 they enjoyed summers at Lake Ossipee in New Hampshire and traveling throughout New England. Most of all she enjoyed the comfort of her home.

She leaves her son, Brian Leathe, of Haverhill a granddaughter Acadia Belanger and her husband Dany, of Haverhill and great granddaughter, Lily Belanger and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, April 20 at 11:00 AM at the East Parish Meeting House Middle Road Haverhill. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the East Parish Meeting House. Burial will follow at Walnut Cemetery, Middle Road, Haverhill.
