Haverhill – Kim (Nicholson) Walsh, 67, passed away at her home on January 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Arthur G. and the late Theresa M. (Thurlow) Nicholson. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1972. She was married to her husband Richard P. Walsh for over 34 years.  For many years Kim worked as a waitress at Sambo’s, Al’s Place and the Breakfast Cafe. She enjoyed trips to the casino, playing bingo and bowling on the St. Joseph’s Bowling League. Kim also enjoyed having dinner with the ladies and seeing plays. She volunteered at the St. Joseph School for many years and was a Den Mother for Cub Scouts. Kim cared about everyone, always worrying about others. She was a giving person who loved her family. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and was passing on her love of cooking to her youngest granddaughter.

Kim is survived by her loving husband Richard (Rick); her loving children, Keith P. Jones and his wife Elicia (Leone) of Sandown, NH and Daniel P. Walsh and his fiancée Brittany Brown of Bennington, VT; her grandchildren, Samantha N. Jones and her fiancé Cory Philbrick of Derry, NH, Stephen P. Jones of Sandown, NH and Brielle M. Walsh of Hudson, NH ; her great-granddaughter Ariella N. Philbrick; her siblings Stephen Nicholson of Lumberbridge, NC, Lisa Wadsworth and her husband Frank of Haverhill, Michael Nicholson and his wife Peg of Raymond, NH, Laurie Erickson and her husband Tod of Londonderry, NH, John Nicholson and his wife Angela of Pamplico ,SC ; her Godchild, Jason Wadsworth of Alstead, NH ; many nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother David Nicholson.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday January 24 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill. Funeral services will begin Tuesday morning in the funeral home at 9:30AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. James Church, Winter St., Haverhill at 10:30AM.     We are shocked and saddened to read of Kim’s passing. We have such great memories of chatting with her over the years at Al’s Place and The Breakfast Cafe.
