HAVERHILL – Laurence J. Donahoe, 68, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Wednesday May 3.
Larry was the beloved son of the late Charles and Mary (O’Brien) Donahoe. Born in Winchester, MA, he graduated from Stoneham High School, Class of 1972. Larry was a talented mechanic, enjoyed spending time fishing, hanging with his many friends and playing pool and keno. He was also an avid sports fan. Larry had a big heart, a unique sense of humor and was always willing to lend a hand. While he had many friends, Larry treasured his solitude and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Larry is survived by his brother Stephen C. Donahoe and his wife Paula, Redwood City, CA, sisters Eileen Ballard-Sarcone and her husband Joseph, Haverhill, and Carol A. Fitzpatrick and her husband James, Sandwich, MA; and several nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Kathleen M. Howe.
