Haverhill – Linda M. (Lupi) Perkins, 75, wife of the late George F. Perkins, Sr. passed away September 7, 2021 at Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston.
Born in Haverhill, Linda was the daughter of the late Edolo and Eda (Forte) Lupi. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she attended Haverhill High School and the Andover Institute of Business. Linda worked at Western Electric and Bethany Homes where for over 25 years she worked with the elderly, a job she cherished.
Linda loved traveling with her family including trips to Italy, Bermuda, London, Scotland, New York and Washington D.C. She relished her role as matriarch, raising three children in her hometown of Haverhill surrounded by her extended family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was incredibly strong and brave. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Linda is survived by her children, Lisa Ann Perkins, of Haverhill; George F. Perkins, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY; and Edward J. Perkins of Haverhill; her sisters, Patricia Pelosi and her husband Joseph, of Atkinson, NH and Lorna Lupi of Haverhill. Extended family, Donald Perkins and his wife Jo-Ann, of Natick, MA; H. Sue Barlow and her husband Roy of, Norfolk, VA; and Barbara Lagasse and her husband Victor, of Londonderry, NH.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, September 13 from 8:30AM until 10:30AM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00AM at St. James Parish, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Bradford.
