Bradford – Margit (Fischer) Lambert, 76, wife of Rene` Lambert, passed away June 19, 2021 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill with her family by her side.
Born in Biebrich, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Margurite Fischer. She was raised and educated in Germany and attended high school there. Margit moved to Haverhill in 1967 and has lived in the area for the past 54 years. She was employed at Brentwood Furniture, Western Electric and Gould Modicon before retiring to care for her family. With her husband Rene`, she enjoyed 15 winters in Florida and traveling in their RV. Margit also enjoyed motorcycling, Bingo and going to the casinos. She loved Christmas parties and having her family and friends over. Known for her great sense of humor, she will always be remembered for her giving and caring spirit. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Margit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her loving husband Rene`, she is survived by her daughter, Marcelle Wood and her husband Karl of Bradford; her son, Stefan Lambert and his wife Aldina of Leesburg, VA; two sisters, Renate Horner and her husband Herbert of Germany and Lisalotte Stieger and her husband Rudi, of Germany; four grandchildren, Kristen Lambert, Brian Lambert, McKenzie Lambert and Stephen Wood; four great grandchildren, Shawn, Ella, Cole and Ayla; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
