Mary A. (Bresnahan) Mosher January 5, 1930 - November 28, 2021

Mary A. (Bresnahan) Mosher, 91, wife of the late Frederick L. Mosher, passed away peacefully November 28, 2021 at Port Healthcare in Newburyport.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Daniel S. and Loretta (Richards) Bresnahan. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a proud graduate St. James High School, Class of 1947. After high school she attended St. Johns Nursing School in Lowell graduating in 1950 as a registered nurse with her many friends from high school. She always loved the sun and found a way of enjoying that while continuing her career as a registered nurse working winters in Florida as a private nurse for the former 31^st President of the United States, Herbert Hoover. Mary enjoyed water skiing in her youth as well. She was a nurse at the former Hale Hospital until she began raising her family. After her children were grown she returned to her job at the Hale Hospital and worked there until her retirement. With her husband Fred, she enjoyed spending many winters in Florida. Mary loved to host the nurse’s club Christmas parties at her home. She was an avid walker and could be seen walking all over Bradford and Haverhill averaging six plus miles a day well into her later years. Mary was a lifelong resident of Haverhill  and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mary is survived by her children, Gerard Mosher and his wife Vivian of Haverhill, their children Peter and Daniel; Andrea DiBurro and her husband Patrick of Exeter, NH; Marianne Grant and her husband Arthur of Plaistow, NH, their children, Matthew, Jeffrey and Alyssa; Denise Williams and her husband Thomas of Wakefield, their children Ashton, Christopher and Ryan; a nephew and a niece. In addition to her husband of 50 years, Frederick L. Mosher, she was predeceased by her son Daniel Mosher and brother John D. Bresnahan.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Mass to be celebrated on December 6 at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main St., Haverhill at 10:00AM. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem St., Bradford. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill.
