Mary T. (Malloy) O’Gara April 19, 1936 - June 2, 2019

Mary T. (Malloy) O’Gara, 83, beloved wife of George E. O’Gara, formerly of Burlington, passed away at Haverhill Crossing Assisted Living surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Bicknell) Malloy. She was a graduate of Roslindale High School, Class of 1954. With her husband George, Mary raised seven children while living in Burlington. Mary was a simple woman and a homebody who enjoyed spending time with her family. Known for her quick wit and great sense of humor, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her loving husband, Mary is survived by her children, Janice O’Gara of Freemont, NH; Kevin O’Gara of Lawrence; Kathleen Martin of Chelmsford; Diane O’Gara of Haverhill; Erin Kulda and her husband G. Scott of Kingston; Eileen Bradley and her husband Robert of Tewksbury; Lori O’Gara of Plaistow, NH; her sister, Jean Gray of Seabrook, NH; her ten grandchildren, William Castenada, Patrick, Jaclyn and Connor Martin, Jennifer Andrade and her husband Walisson, Nicholas and Keith Bradley, Andrea and Daniel Kulda, James Brady; her great granddaughter, Juliana Andrade.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service on Monday, June 10 at 11:00AM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to NAMI, National Alliance of Mental Health, The Schrafft’s Center, 529 Main Street, Suite 1M17, Boston, MA 02129. When living in Burlington, Mary was more than a good neighbor; she was a warm, caring and compassionate friend to my family for many years.
