Haverhill – Miguel Angel Torres, 69, passed away July 3, 2020 at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill.
Born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, he was the son of the late Julio Torres and Julia Maria Licona. Miguel came to the United States in 1976, settling in Bronx, NY. He moved to Haverhill in the 1980’s and worked for many years at Davco in Haverhill in the shoe industry. Miguel liked to work with his hands and enjoyed working on cars and anything mechanical. He had a quick wit and was known for his great sense of humor. A devoted father and grandfather, he loved having his family together for all the holidays. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Miguel is survived by his children, Carlos Torres of Methuen; Ivelisse Torres of Haverhill; Eric Sheehan and his wife Jocelyn of Haverhill; his step daughter, Denise Sheehan of Warner, NH; brother, Jose Eduardo Torres of Honduras; sisters, Yolanda Torres Villa of NY and Irma Guerra of FL; his grandchildren, Latecia, Laura, Xavier, Miguel, Amilyani, Eric, Adrianna, Zachary, Denis, Matthew, Chris, Abigail and Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
