HAVERHILL – , the widow of William J. Ferrick, Jr., passed away on Friday, September 15 at the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center. She was the youngest and last of the Lennon Clan of 11th Ave.
Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Lee) Lennon. Raised and educated in Haverhill. Nancy was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1947, and then was employed as an administrative assistant at Pentucket Bank in Haverhill for several years. A gifted artist, she was a prolific painter working with water color and charcoal; she also enjoyed bowling and was always experimenting with new crafts. Nancy enjoyed spending time with family and all holiday gatherings. She was a great cook and an excellent baker of chocolate chip cookies. She and her husband traveled extensively both for the Elks and pleasure. Nancy will be remembered fondly as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law.
Nancy is survived by her three sons, James M. Ferrick, Daniel T. Ferrick and David J. Ferrick and his wife Anna; eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Joseph W. Ferrick and daughters in law Deborah (McKinney) Ferrick and Sally (Dallaire) Ferrick.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, September 18 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM, followed by a funeral home chapel service at 12PM, at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill.
