Amesbury – Nancy L. (Giobbe) Dandurant, 91, wife of the late Raymond A. Dandurant, passed away at Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport on September 11, 2021.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Sebastian Ralph and Vera (Fromini) Giobbe. Nancy was a graduate of Arlington High School, Class of 1948. She attended Somerville Hospital Nursing School and was employed as a registered nurse at the former Hale Hospital and Haverhill Manor. She lived for over 60 years and raised her family at her Haverhill address. She lived at the Elizabeth Kelsey House Assisted Living for a year and a half as well. Nancy enjoyed golfing, bowling and swimming at the YMCA and remained very active. She was a member of the St. Ann Ladies Society and was an active participant at All Saints Parish. With her husband Raymond, she was a snowbird, spending winters in Seminole, FL. She loved to travel and did many trips to California and visiting close friends in Prince Edward Island. Nancy was devoted to her family, her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Raymond S. Dandurant and his wife Kim of Bradford, Richard W. Dandurant of Merrimac and Ronald A. Dandurant and his wife Darlene of Hampton, NH; eight grandchildren, Jonathan and Emily Dandurant, Sara and Dr. Ryan Seibert, Stefanie and Brett Burger, Eric and Simone Dandurant, Alex and Mollie Dandurant, Nicole and Allen Hundley, Colin Dandurant, Hillary and Brian Trischitta; eleven great grandchildren, Henry, Harrison, Emery, Elin, Ethan, Reese, Charlie, Zachary, Jake, Shay and Dylan; and her cousin Ann Penta. In addition to her husband Raymond she was predeceased by her brother Ralph S. Giobbe.
