Phyllis A. (Ball) Williams, 90 July 26, 1929 - February 6, 2020

Haverhill– Phyllis A. (Ball) Williams, 90, wife of the late John G. Williams, passed away February 6, 2020 at her home in Haverhill with her family by her side.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur F. and Beatrice E. (George) Ball. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1947. She was a stay-at-home mother until her children finished school. Phyllis then went to manage her husband’s office at Gas Associates in Haverhill. She enjoyed summers at Cape Cod and Province Lake, NH. She also enjoyed winters in the Bahamas and Fort Meyers.   A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and great grandmother, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.Phyllis is survived by her children, Philip G. Williams and his wife Brenda ofHaverhill; Steven J. Williams and his wife Dawn of Haverhill; John A. Williams and his wife Kathy of Windham, NH; Linda J. Williams-Meehan and her husband Dennis of Nashua; Diane L. Hartman of Atkinson, NH; her grandchildren, Andrew,Christopher, Melissa, Matthew, Liana, Lauren, David, Amanda, Nicole, Ashley,Allison, Gregory, Jay; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Elizabeth, Katie, Greyson,Duston and Gabriella; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbandJohn, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Jack Hartman and her two brothers,Raymond and Wilbur, Jr.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday,February 10 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home,486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Tuesday morning at11:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Highlands Cemetery, Highland Street, Newton, NH.
