HAVERHILL ā Pjeter Lekani, 61, loving husband of Domenika, of Haverhill passed away peacefully on April 6, 2024 at the Lawrence General Hospital with his loving family by his side after a five year battle with cancer.
Born, raised and educated in Albania, he was the son of the late Zef and Leze Lekani. He immigrated to this country 34 years ago and settled here in Haverhill. A devoted husband and father he worked very hard to support his family. For many years he was employed as a truck driver, a painting contractor and maintenance man for Cedardale in Bradford.
Mr. Lekani leaves his beloved wife of thirty four years, Domenika (Guri) Lekani and a son, Antonio Lekani, both of Haverhill. He also leaves behind his siblings John Lekani of Albania, Lazer Lekani of South Carolina and Vanina Lekani of Italy. He was predeceased by his brothers Mark Lekani and George Lekani.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, April 9 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St., Haverhill.
