Robert “Bob” W. Carnes April 24, 1950 - May 22, 2021

Seabrook, NH – Robert “Bob” W. Carnes, 71, husband of Clara H. (Grant) Carnes, passed away May 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Victor M. and Elizabeth (Smith) Carnes. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1969. Bob worked for Foss Manufacturing as a supervisor, mechanic and electrician. In the 1970’s he worked at Vic’s Sandwich Shop and with his family in the carnival industry. Bob was very creative and artistic, photography and wood carving his favorites. With his family he loved to spend time at the Radeke Cabin. Known for his great sense of humor and his humble spirit, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who was loved by all his family and friends. To say he will be missed is an understatement.

In addition to his loving wife Clara, he is survived by his children, Shane Carnes and his wife Windy of Belmont, NH; Melanie D’Agata and her husband John of Lancaster, NH; Claudette Robitaille and her husband Michael of Rochester, NH; Lorin Clark and his wife Melissa of Haverhill; James Clark and his wife Debbie of Merrimac; Lisa Augustonovich and her husband Bruce of Merrimac; brothers, Victor M. Carnes III and Jennie Williams of Odentin, MD; John Carnes and his wife Linda of Haverhill; sister, Phyllis Packer and her husband William of Homosassa FL; sister in law Valerie Carnes of Plaistow; grandchildren Niko, Brianna and Austin Carnes, Joey and Maddie D’Agata, Jimmy Jr., Delaney and Katey Clark, Joey, Kayla, Andy, Skye and Hunter Augustonovich; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel Carnes.
