Bradford – Robert S. “Snappa” Knapp, 70, passed away September 26, 2019 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill with his loving family by his side.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Vincent M. and Janet S. (Tuxbury) Knapp. Raised and educated in Haverhill, he was a graduate of Haverhill High School and received his Associate Degree in both Business and Marketing. He was employed as a Manager at Foss Manufacturing, New Balance and The Balmoral. For the past few years he was employed in the Methuen School system as a custodian. Robert was an avid reader and lover of words and was frequently found at the local library. A music aficionado, he loved the blues. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Robert is survived by his partner, Sherry A. Vance of Bradford; his brother, James V. Knapp of Rochester Hills, MI; nieces Paula M. Knapp of Vero Beach, FL and Pamela J. Knapp and her husband Daniel Zendell of Troy, MI; and three great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister in law, Sheila Knapp.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, October 2 from 4:00PM until 6:30PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
