BRENTWOOD, NH – Rose C. (Sarkisian) Cunningham, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 18 at the Rockingham County Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Rose was born in North Andover to Hachig and Mary (Kachanian) Sarkisian. She graduated from Johnson High School, in North Andover, and went on to work at Western Electric, Cyr Oil Company, and eventually retiring from the Internal Revenue Service. Rose enjoyed going to the beach and traveling with her late husband Art. She was a self taught artist, loved to cook and spend time with her family. The family would like to extend their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Rockingham County Nursing Home for their excellent care and compassion given to Rose.
Rose is survived by her son Robert Thomsen, Jr. of Raymond, NH and daughter Andrea Carifio and her husband Dean, of Haverhill. She also leaves behind her grandson Robert Thomsen, 3rd , a niece Maryann Rowell, of Salem, NH and great nieces Ashley Rowell and Haley Rowell of Salem, NH. Rose is predeceased by her husband Henry Arthur Cunningham III, and her brothers Edward Sarkisian and Archie (BoBo) Sarkisian.
